Shaun has
Trisomy 18, also known as Edwards syndrome. This has been thought of as a fatal disease in the past, but as medical science advances,
research shows that more children with this genetic difference are surviving longer. Shaun needs and deserves a family so that he can live up to his potential! The fact that he has lived as long as he has in an orphanage setting is very promising for him.

Arica, so glad to have you! I was not really in a position where I was considering adoption even a year ago (my son's first year was very difficult) but God works things out how He will and I believe it is His timing for us to embark on this now. I also believe that a great deal of good comes just from putting these kids' faces where they can be seen and praying for them.
